Casa Serenella is a large and enchanting terrace house, where our guests can feel again the pleasure of living surrounded by nature.
The whole house is well-finished and furnished with traditional taste. The living room, with two relax and one dining areas, is at the ground floor, next to the kitchen, that is fully equipped (including dishwasher), with everything you will need to prepare typical Sicilian dinners. The rooms are organized as follows: three elegant and large double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. There are three bathrooms in the house, one comes with a shower, the others are provided with a bathtub. The garden allows our guests to enjoy their stay in this amazing location, having on one side the mountain of Parco Naturale delle Madonie, and on the other a beautiful view of the Sicilian sea. Few relax areas are at disposal of our guest in the garden, well-finished and equipped for every need. For example there is a nice beach umbrella and a table with chairs perfect to enjoy breakfast or a glass of Italian wine in the evening, or the covered patio with the dining table. Next to it, there’s a terrace with deckchairs to sunbath, and another one at the first floor. A car park, a washing machine, and the heating (for the mild sicilian winter) are all at disposal of the guests.
Our house is located in Castelbuono, little town in Parco Naturale delle Madonie, originally called Ypsigro (which in Byzantine means “fresh air place”) and where, in the fourteenth-century Castle of Ventimiglia our guests can find the amazing and marvellous Cappella Palatina in which the remains of Saint Anna are preserved. Madonie natural park is perfect outdoor activities, for example trekking, downhill and birdwatching. Cefalù and its amazing beaches are 25kms far; another interesting destination is Isnello (15 kms), where the “Parco astronomico delle Madonie” has been recently inaugurated.
Palermo is 90 kms far, and having the car allows to discover enchanted places on this hidden land.
